Biography: My educational background is in Sustainable Development, Renewable Energy and Natural Resource Management - BA in Sustainable Development (energy studies) and Dip Natural Resource Management.
I spent five years working on renewable energy incentive programs with the Western Australian State Government from 2003 – 2008. At this time I decided to fulfil a dream of mine to work with communities in Africa, so I went to Malawi to work on a sustainable livelihoods program with women from the village of Mua, Central Malawi. The role consisted mainly of developing food security options, sanitation and basic energy options (briquettes). My most recent role was with the Centre for Appropriate Technology in Alice Springs working with Indigenous communities in central Australia.
I am looking forward to working with the Wind Prospect team and to being back in the field of renewable energy. I am passionate about RE and all thing Sustainable!

|
Biography: Adam joined advisory services as a project manager at the beginning of May. His background is in consultancy where he has been involved with wind energy development for 7 years. Originally Adam was an environmental chemist who stumbled into wind work on the off chance but he has found something that he enjoys and intends to stick with it.
Outside of work Adam has a variety of sports related hobbies but is a mountain biker at heart. Adam loves surfing and mountain boarding and anything a bit out of the ordinary. As a personal challenge, Adam is training to complete LEJOG- Land’s End to John O’Groats next April!
Adam joined Wind Prospect after being self employed for a little while as he was looking for a company that offered a different viewpoint on the industry: the chance to join a company that works as both a developer and a consultant was too good to pass up. It also helped seeing all the bikes lying around the office as it made him feel instantly at home!

|
Biography: Matt joins the growing legal department in Bristol. He will primarily be providing Wind Direct with legal support. Having studied law at the University of Southampton, graduating in 2005, he then went on to complete his Legal Practice Course in London before completing his training contract and qualifying as a solicitor in the Cambridge office of national law firm Mills & Reeve LLP. Matt worked in the Corporate and Commercial team at M&R, as well as doing a short internal Marketing secondment prior to leaving the firm.
Matt joined Wind Prospect because he knew from an early stage in his legal training that he wanted to work in-house as 'the environment is much more commercial and you are surrounded by people who are not predominantly lawyers!' Apart from being impressed by grilling interviews from the legal team, the idea of joining a growing company involved in a forward thinking and dynamic industry, coupled with the social benefits of renewables, really appealed to Matt.
Matt usually spends his spare time appeasing a passion for sport, in particular triathlons and road biking during the summer, mountain biking and surfing during the autumn and winter. Matt has recently returned from cycling the Pyrenees coast to coast route, taking in the famous Tour de France cols and is looking forward to getting out on some West Country hills soon! |
