Colin Aimers - General Manager, Civil Engineering Services

Biography: Colin Aimers joined Wind Prospect in 2002 having worked with Directors Euan Cameron and Bruce Allan on a number of wind farm projects since 2000.
Colin, a chartered Civil and Environmental Engineer has previously worked with a number of consulting engineers and contractors across the UK with a specialism in geotechnical engineering and foundation designs.
Colin is responsible for the civil engineering technical affairs of Wind Prospect Group's UK portfolio of business. Together with a variety of staff, they conduct; civil and structural engineering design, site investigations, EIA support and the project management of consented projects to the construction phase. More recently, Colin has expanded the range of services offered to the group and external clients. |

Damian Aubrey - Senior Development Manager

Biography: Damian Aubrey joined Wind Prospect Group in 2003 as a Senior Development Manager and was involved in the management of the development stage and environmental impact assessments of wind farm projects.
Damian graduated from Aberdeen University in 1997 with a degree in Geography and a Masters degree in Environmental Management and Planning. He then worked with Scottish Natural Heritage in the Scottish Borders as an Area Officer before moving to Aberdeen working towards the designation of the Cairngorms National Park.
In 2000 Damian managed a nature reserve and community development project in a remote part of Western Uganda. Following this Damian entered into the field of wind energy with npower renewables before transferring his skills and experiences to work for Wind Prospect Group. |

Helen Browne - CEO Wind Prospect Inc

Biography: Helen Browne has been heading up Wind Prospect’s North American business since 2006 when she first arrived on the shores of Nova Scotia. Wind Prospect Inc is now actively developing wind energy projects in the Atlantic Provinces, Ontario and British Columbia as well as offering wind energy services throughout North America.
Helen joined the UK development team of the Wind Prospect Group in 2001 after completing a Masters Degree in Renewable Energy and Systems Technology at Loughborough University. While in the UK she was responsible for the development of six wind farms, four of which are in operation and two of which are currently being constructed.
Prior to entering the Renewable Energy industry she worked for Intel Corporation in Phoenix, USA and Dublin, Ireland. Helen has an Honors degree in Materials Engineering from Leeds University. |

David Groves - General Manager, Commercial & Advisory Services

Biography: Before joining Wind Prospect in 2003, David spent several years with the renewable energy team at E.On (prev. Powergen), overseeing the construction of Askam, Tursillagh and Deucheran Hill windfarms and managing the development of others. Prior to working in the renewable energy team David spent two years developing combined heat and power projects for Powergen.
David established WP’s European Advisory Services business in 2004, and led the establishment of the company’s French subsidiary in 2007 to undertake advisory work across France. As General Manager of the Advisory Services team, David is continuing to expand the business across Europe and also acts as expert advisor to external clients, most recently providing contract and procurement advice for the 347.5MW Fantanele windfarm, one of the largest windfarms in Europe which is now under construction.
In 2009 David negotiated a contract with GE Energy to provide development services in Poland, Bulgaria, Romania and Sweden, and is leading Wind Prospect’s expansion into Turkey. |

Frances Karki - Chief Operating Officer, Wind Direct

Biography: Frankie initially joined the Wind Prospect group in 2004 and has since focussed primarily on building the Wind Direct side of the business.
In the earlier years, Frankie worked across the group in several different areas, gaining a valuable insight into Wind Direct and helping to form the company’s distinct business model. Frankie previously worked for Eon in their trading and renewable energy divisions. |

Keith Morris - Financial Controller

Biography: In 2008 Keith emigrated from South Africa to Australia with his family, and now lives in the seaside town of Victor Harbor in South Australia. Before coming to Australia Keith was Financial Director of a well known tyre tread manufacturer and distributor. Prior to joining Wind Prospect, he was Financial Controller of a leisure management company with interests in both Australia and New Zealand.
A Chartered Accountant by training, Keith finds his time consumed by the activities of his 14 year old daughter, manages to get in only the occasional round of golf, and enjoys seeing South Africa winning at cricket when playing Australia, and rugby when playing New Zealand. |

Adrian Oakey - Technical Director

Biography: Adrian Oakey provides a range of technical and administrative tasks for Wind Prospect.
On the technical side Adrian has been developing the global wind resource consultancy side of the business, doing wind and energy reports and developing analytical process; as well as teaching and training others in the same, wind and wind turbine due diligence for China, UK and Ireland and anybody else that needs it.
On the administrative side Adrian is involved in the 1SO9001 process development for Australia.
For the last two years Adrian has been building straw-bale sustainable houses in the Aldinga Arts Eco Village. Adrian is now enjoying the fruits of labor and is living in the eco-village. |

James Pennay - Commercial Director

Biography: James Pennay is Wind Prospect Pty Ltd’s Commercial Director, working on portfolios in Australia, New Zealand, China and specific assignments in other Asian countries. He was the General Manager in China from 2005 to 2009, which included the setting up of a Chinese development joint venture, which saw the approval of the Qian’an Wind Farm (50MW), and the setting up of several technical service units undertaking wind data management and 24/7 operations supervision, as well as the undertaking of over 1,000MWs of Chinese wind farm due diligence for foreign investors.
James first joined Wind Prospect in 2001, as a member of the UK onshore development team, managing the successful planning approvals of the Red Tile (26MW) and Bicker (24MW) wind farms. He has held Board positions at the Australian Wind Energy Association (2004) and the China Carbon Forum (2007-9) and has two Queensland University of Technology degrees (1999); Manufacturing Engineering (Hons) and Business (Marketing). |

Chris Porter - Sales Director, Wind Direct

Biography: Chris Porter joined the renewables industry in 2002 after 16 years in capital equipment manufacturing, developing business in the UK and internationally.
In 2005, Chris became a Director of Wind Direct and takes a leading role in bridging the gap between industry and on site wind generation opportunities. |

Barthelemy Rouer - Directeur General /General Manager France

Biography: Barthelemy Rouer became head of Wind Prospect France in June 2008 and is now in charge of consolidating the existing clients portfolio, growing the advisory and engineering businesses and establishing WP?s reputation in France.
Based in Paris, Wind Prospect France are primarily focusing on short-term due-diligence and valuation targets as well as more long-term construction and operation contracts.
Barthelemy is a Mechanical Engineer, with onshore and offshore wind development experience, with track records in France, UK, China, Spain, US, the Caribbean, Italy and Greece.
Barthelemy has worked for Vergnet, enXco, Shell WindEnergy and UPC Renewables before joining Wind Prospect.
Prior to Wind Prospect Barth has also done some freelance wind consultancy jobs. |

Alex Tancock - General Manager

Biography: Alex has had a number of years experience working within the wind energy industry, having been involved in the development and operation of wind farm projects in the UK, Australia and China.
In 2000 he joined Powergen (now EON) in the UK, starting in wind farm operations he moved onto development. In 2003 Alex joined the Wind Prospect team in Adelaide to assist with development and commercial work relating to the successful South Australian portfolio of projects.
In late 2004 Alex returned to Hong Kong and set up a Wind Prospect office to work in the growing Chinese and Asian renewables markets. Since Jan 2008 he has worked closely with CLP on their wind projects across Asia. He is also project manager of the 201MW Hong Kong Offshore Wind Farm, and does regular advisory work for Government and private clients across the Asia-Pacific region.

Mark Wilson - Corporate Affairs & Marketing Manager

Biography: Mark Wilson joined Wind Prospect in 2007 with responsibility for internal and external communications, across all the businesses within the group, supporting all offices/countries.
Mark's varied marketing background in consumer and business to business marketing is particularly relevant to the number of different audiences and stakeholders Wind Prospect communicates with.
Mark went to Loughborough University and did a Management Science BSc followed by an MSc in Ergonomics (user-centred design).
Marketing and Business planning roles and spent 7 years as a self-employed consultant before becoming an in-house Marketing Manager.
Mark has worked for professional service firms such as accountants, surveyors and engineers; as well as with Thames Water and briefly, green energy supplier, Good Energy.
