GE Energy Award Wind Prospect Major Consultancy Contract

Wind Prospect’s consultancy division has signed a five-year contract to provide development and technical services to GE Energy.

Wind Prospect will begin by managing the development of over 700MW of wind power projects within Poland, Bulgaria, Sweden and Romania, with further schemes already identified.

Where existing developers have already been assigned or projects are underway, Wind Prospect will fill in any gaps in knowledge or act as technical adviser, moulding to the project as required and protecting GE’s investment.

David Groves, head of Advisory Services within Wind Prospect said.

“As well as consolidating our existing position in countries such as Poland and Romania, the agreement accelerates our plans for further expansion into Europe. The contract with GE is one of a growing number of non-exclusive consultancy agreements we have in place, and we will continue working with new and existing clients.” 

Wind Prospect has a reputation for developing successful projects and sees the agreement as an acknowledgement of their strength in providing development, wind engineering and technical services.
