12/07/2010 The Sunday Times ‘International Track 100’ has this week listed Wind Prospect among Britain’s private firms with the fastest growing overseas sales.
The figures published by the Sunday Times show Wind Prospect at no.27 in the list, with a growth in international sales of over 95% between years 2006 – 2008.
Listed amongst other companies such as Chemicals Manufacturer Isothane and Simon Cowell’s X-Factor business, Wind Prospect is also shown in the top 10 companies selling in China.
Part of Wind Prospect’s rapid growth has been due to the success of the firm’s Advisory Services business, which provides support and advice to financiers and other wind developers. The team currently works in offices in the UK, France, Poland Turkey and the USA, with plans for further international expansion.
Wind Prospect Group CEO Euan Cameron said:
“Climate change is a global issue and Wind Prospect has been developing wind farms for almost 20 years, so there is a natural synergy in providing our services worldwide.
“We are pleased to be acknowledged in the Sunday Times International list. It demonstrates the commitment of our staff and directors to Wind Prospect as a truly global business.”
