The Brown Hill Range Wind Farm (also known as Hallett 1) consists of 45 wind turbines located near Hallett, in the Mid-North of South Australia.  This project forms part of the Provisional Development Planning Consent that was first granted on 22 November 2004, by the Northern Areas Council and Regional Council of Goyder, for up to 130 turbines.   

The Wind Farm is owned by AGL Energy and was officially opened on 13 June 2008, by the Hon Mike Rann, Premier of South Australia.  The site is now in full operation.
